On the night of Saturday, 03.09.2022, unfortunately, a fire broke out in the oil mill in one of the two large halls at Emmelev.
“We have suffered extensive damage to the company. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the damage to our production facility is, unfortunately, severe,” says director Morten Simonsen. A major cleanup and subsequent rebuilding work are now required for Emmelev to resume production of all the company’s products under the same conditions as before the fire. It is still too early to determine how long it will take to rebuild the damaged parts.
“It is clear that we need to return to producing at the same capacity as before the fire as quickly as possible, but it’s still too early to say when we will be back to normal operations. We will do everything we can, and we will, of course, keep our customers continuously informed about what is happening,” says Morten Simonsen.
